Effective upon public launch

1. Overview

Factor Analytics respects your privacy. This policy describes what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

2. What we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address. Account creation and management are handled by Clerk (clerk.com), our authentication provider.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe (stripe.com). We never see or store your full card number, billing address, or other payment details. Those are handled entirely by Stripe and subject to their privacy policy.

Usage data. We may collect anonymized data about how you use the site (pages visited, features used) to improve the platform. This data is not linked to your identity.

Cookies. We use a session cookie to maintain your login state and a preference cookie to remember your subscription status. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How we use your data

Your email address is used to manage your account, send transactional emails (payment confirmations, access expiry notices), and communicate material changes to the service. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

4. Third-party processors

We use the following third-party services, each of which may process your data under their own privacy policies. Clerk (clerk.com) handles authentication and account management. Stripe (stripe.com) handles payment processing. Vercel (vercel.com) provides hosting and infrastructure. We select processors that maintain strong data protection standards and process your data only as necessary to provide the service.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at factoranalyticsapp@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. California residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. 8. Children

Factor Analytics is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy at any time. We will update the effective date when changes are made. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
